Misty Mountain Lifestyle Retreat

Needs broken bathroom tiles replaced.
Too noisy as bed backs onto staff room, staff kitchen and guest laundry.
I had to move to a cheaper room for sanity reasons on the detox .this room should be a staff room, ...
I was moved tp a shared bathroom , which worked out in the end better.

Ray & I went to Misty Mountain Retreat not knowing what to expect. We desired to live the remainder of our senior years with good mobility and healthy bodies and minds.
Misty Mountain Retreat provided us with a brilliant template for a healthy life.

We loved every moment of our 8 days while enjoying so many new experiences.
Our programme was full to overflowing every day - from early mornings to evening.
Amazing lectures, great exercise regime
(especially if you stay in the Hilltop), exhilarating cold plunge & hot steam bath, wonderful refreshing treatments, massage, facial, dry body brush, alkaline wrap to name a few. And nutrition, the food was so fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, so healthy.
We loved how the 8 pillars of health were embedded throughout the whole programme.
We have been challenged to adopt new learning and lifestyle changes that we are sure will enable us to achieve our goals. .

I've been following Barbara on FB for some time & hoped that one day I would get there. Due to a few too many small health issues, I decided it was time! A long drive home was a time for reflection for me. Soooo.... I don't think I have ever, in my life, been surrounded by such love & care. A humbling experience for which I will always be grateful. The staff are truly awesome with their knowledge, encouragement, patience & care. They are an absolute credit to the Misty Mountain team. The setting is peaceful, the accommodation is beautiful, the food is AMAZING! The bonuses are the treatments, the education, the sharing of knowledge, the fellow guests who were so supportive while dealing with their own health issues. Some of the teas and/or juices were not fun, but I understand the benefits. I have returned home & cleaned out my entire pantry cupboard & started again with more healthier choices. I'm also working my way through the recipe book...favourites first! Shopping now includes the health food shops. Slowly working on the exercise regime. Thank you so very much. M 😊

I came to Misty Mountain to support a friend and ended up getting 100fold out of the 8days. Much of the information I had been putting into practice until about 5 years ago when I allowed these practices to slide. Even though I was aware of much of the information, I still learnt such amazing little nuggets that have a huge impact on our health. I have come home and my feet have hit the floor running, with amazing energy, amazing zest and an amazing recalibration of what I know to be truth.
8 days surrounded by the most nurturing, caring, joyful and humorous staff. 8 days of the most delicious juices and food.
8 days of the most amazing therapies. 8 days in the most beautiful accommodation surrounded by pristine mountainous views and wildlife. It only took 8 days to see a difference in myself, and it heartens me to say I witnessed a vast difference in each and every one of the beautiful participants. If this change can happen in 8 days... imagine what a difference it will make if we follow the principles from here on in!!!! Love love loved it!! Keep shining your brilliant light.... Wendi Guy

Really good indepth lectures about how the systems in your body works.
