The bus companies Águia Branca and Cidade Sol operate lines between the ferry terminal of Bom Despacho and Itacare. The estimated travel time is 5 hours.

There are also bus lines to Itacare from Ilheus, Itabuna, Feira de Santana, Vitória da Conquista, Jequie and Porto Seguro.

The buses that operate between Ilheus and Itacare are from the company ROTA, leaving from hour to hour.


BY CAR : We are located 50 km from Ilheus and 230 km from Salvador (via Itaparica Island).

Coming from Salvador : Take the ferry to Bom Despacho (Itaparica Island), crossing the Bahia de Todos os Santos. Then, take the BA-001 highway to Itacare. On the Ilheus-Itacare clover, turn right towards Ilheus for another 6 km and enter right into Vila Camboinha.

Coming from Ilheus: Access directly via BA-001 towards the north coast. Approximately 2 km after the beaches of Itacarezinho and Engenhoca, enter left in Vila Camboinha.
