The Interlude Art Retreat

“I just want to paint…”- this is how our story started.

After spending over 10 years in corporate law, I had probably spent less than 10 days pursuing my passion for painting during this period. A hectic schedule, a small apartment, and life in general seemed to get in the way of this old hobby.

In a burst of inspiration, I began searching for a place to escape and just paint. I looked for art retreats, but to my surprise, I could hardly find anything that seemed a good match. In a sea of wellness and yoga retreats, the only art-focused options I found were centered around fixed curriculums or artist-led workshops.

Meanwhile, all I wanted was a place where I could simply paint. And that’s how the idea of The Interlude was born.
