About this Retreat
Daniel Fow is a Canadian Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP), Doctor of Osteopathy (Europe), and owner of a multidisciplinary holistic healthcare clinic. He is also a trained yoga teacher, having studied in India, and a sound healing musician. In 2012, Daniel’s life was profoundly transformed and saved by an indigenous Amazonian tribe, inspiring him to dedicate his life to healing and holistic wellness. Now, he leads immersive retreats in the Peruvian Amazon, offering participants authentic, transformative experiences guided by traditional indigenous practices and supported by his extensive knowledge in osteopathy, yoga, and holistic health. In the past Daniel has also helped to run silent retreats, yoga retreats, and plant medicine retreats in Ontario, Quebec and Mexico.

Event Description:
Our retreat exists to offer an authentic, transformative experience deep in the Peruvian Amazon. Participants stay at an indigenous-owned retreat center and live with a real tribe, engaging in traditional ceremonies conducted faithfully according to ancestral practices. Guided by revered ayahuasquero/curandero and led by Daniel Fow—a Canadian Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Doctor of Osteopathy (EU), yoga teacher, and sound healing musician—guests reconnect with themselves, experience true indigenous wisdom, and undergo profound personal and spiritual growth.

Relaxing and immersing in the jungle environment

Accommodations:
Guests stay in rustic, backcountry-style leaf cabin huts with a bed, toilet, sink, and shower. Accommodations are minimal and traditional, closer to backcountry camping than a hotel. Participants spend nearly all of their retreat immersed in the surrounding jungle, with indoor time limited to sleeping.
Food & Meals:
All meals are 100% ayahuasca dieta approved, with roughly 90% sourced from the land or nearby areas. Most meals include vegetables, beans, salads, eggs, fish, or chicken. The diet is strictly free of salt, sugar, spices, yeast, alcohol, pork, red meat, and dairy. The retreat can accommodate vegetarians and most common allergies or food intolerances.
