Details of this retreat

A chapter has closed and the next one is freshly opening.

This is six nights in a private villa above Uvita, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, with a small circle of women standing in the same season of life you are in, built around daily, morning yoga, breathwork, meditation, evening ceremonies, and guided surf sessions with one purpose: coming home to yourself and create a life you love.

The Retreat Experience

Are you feeling the call for more? More aliveness, freedom, joy, confidence, fulfillment...?
This retreat answers the call.

Maybe a chapter is ending for you, a relationship, a job, a city, a version of you that you have outgrown and cannot climb back into. The next chapter is freshly opening, and you want a reset, you want to reconnect with yourself on a deeper level, and actually take your life to the next level.

A week of yoga, surf, meditation, ceremony and long meals at a long table, with a tribe of like minded women, intentionally built to help you come back home to yourself. With the jungle on one side, ocean on the other, this place slows you down the moment you arrive.

You leave with clarity and confidence, connected to who you truly are, feeling alive and grateful for this precious life that is all yours to create.

The shape of the days:

Yoga and breathwork every morning before the heat arrives, Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin across the week, with modifications for beginners and variations for anyone who wants more.

The clarity circle: one hour, every day, a talk, a guided meditation and journaling prompts, drawn from years of studying the universal laws and manifestation alongside neuroscience, energetic and somatic practice. The circle is the spine of the week. It is where you release what has been standing in front of your gift, and start to see the life you are actually meant for.

Surf lessons three time during the week. Surfing is play and practice at the same time, and it will show you things about yourself that no amount of thinking ever will. You paddle out slightly afraid, you get worked, you come up laughing, you try again. Somewhere in that loop you meet your own patience and the part of you that keeps getting back up. Most women arrive having never stood on a board. The beach is gentle and forgiving, the instructors are genuinely good with beginners, and there are never more than five women to one teacher.

Ceremony, three evenings, held by Ema. A cacao ceremony, a voice activation and chanting, and an evening of ecstatic dance. Cacao, voice and ecstatic dance, held by Ema. No experience needed, nothing expected of you beyond showing up as you are.

One afternoon out in the jungle, walking and swimming under a cold waterfall. Free time most afternoons, real space that belongs to you alone.

Between all of it, three meals a day at a long table, cooked fresh by our private chef. Whole food, mostly organic, locally sourced. Plenty of fruit and vegetables, and also fish, meat and eggs. Every dietary need is looked after. Tell us before you arrive and it is handled.

Each day turns toward a different part of you. The part carrying more than you ever agreed to, that finally gets to put it down. The part of you on fire, that learned somewhere along the way to take up less room. The playful part nobody has seen in years. The part that looks after everybody and keeps losing herself in it. And underneath all of them, the goddess who has always been in you. By the end you have met the full spectrum of yourself, not just the version you present.

Feeling good was always meant to be the baseline. High on Life is the practice of raising your own state on purpose: moving your body, eating food that nourishes you, being present enough to feel your life while it is happening. Joy is not something you wait for, it is something you cultivate. The high was always inside you, and you are the one who generates it.

You go home knowing what you actually want, connected to who you truly are, and able to keep it burning on your own.

Accommodation

A private villa in the hills above Uvita. Jungle on three sides, the Pacific below, and the whale’s tail laid out in front of you.We have the whole house. No other guests, no front desk, nobody to be quiet for.

Two shalas, one open to the air and one under cover, so the practice happens whatever the sky is doing. An infinity pool running the length of the house. A jacuzzi set into the hillside that catches the sunset. A fireplace for the evenings. Daybeds, hammocks and shaded corners in enough places that you can always find one to yourself.

Getting There

Fly into San José, airport code SJO. It is about three and a half hours by road down to Uvita, and the group travels together.

Arriving: land before midday on the first day. The group shuttle leaves the airport in the early afternoon, which puts us at the villa in time to settle in, watch the sun go down and open the week together that evening. That first night matters.

Leaving: book your flight home from late morning on the final day.

If your flight lands outside that window, a private transfer is arranged for you at your own cost.

Visa

Costa Rica welcomes most travelers without a visa for short stays.Citizens of the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, and most Latin American countries can enter as tourists for up to 90 days with just a valid passport (must be valid for at least 1 day beyond your stay, though 6 months is recommended).

You’ll also need proof of onward or return travel to present at immigration.
If you’re traveling from another country, please check your specific visa requirements on the official Costa Rica immigration website or with your nearest Costa Rican embassy.

Schedule

Day 1, arrival:
Land at San José before midday. The group shuttle leaves the airport in the early afternoon and it is about three and a half hours down to Uvita. You arrive in time to settle in, watch the sun go down and we’ll gather for a nourishing dinner and our opening circle, meeting each others, setting intentions for the week and beginning to create the space we’ll move through together.

Day 2, Release the old chapter:
Morning breathwork, yoga and clarity circle. Today, we bring awareness to the beliefs, patterns and limitations that have been weighing you down or keeping you connected to an old version of yourself. We create space to acknowledge what is no longer serving you, and begin to let it go. After a delicious breakfast, we’ll head out for our first surf lesson of the week. After lunch, there will be plenty of time to rest, enjoy the pool, book a massage or simply be. In the evening, we’ll gather for dinner followed by a fire singing circle under the stars.

Day 3, Remember who you truly are:
Morning breathwork, yoga and clarity circle. With more space inside, today we reconnect to who you are beneath the expectations, habits and noise of everyday life, and we get clear on what do you truly want to call into this next chapter? After breakfast, we’ll head into nature for a waterfall adventure. The afternoon is left spacious for rest and integration before dinner and a nourishing yin yoga practice in the evening.

Day 4, Commit to the new chapter:
Morning breathwork, yoga and clarity circle. Today is about making a choice. We explore what staying in the old chapter could cost you, what becomes possible when you choose differently, and what you are ready to fully commit to moving forward. After breakfast, we’ll take that energy into our second surf lesson, practising courage, trust and the willingness to keep showing up. The afternoon is yours to rest before we gather again for dinner and a cacao ceremony.

Day 5, Claim your new identity:
Morning breathwork, yoga and clarity circle. Today, we move beyond simply knowing what you want and begin becoming the woman who lives it. We explore the beliefs, habits, choices and way of being that belong to this new version of you, and consciously create the identity you want to step into. The rest of the day is intentionally spacious for journaling, connection, pool time and rest. In the evening, we move from reflection into expression through an ecstatic dance journey.

Day 6, the goddess underneath:
Morning breathwork, yoga and our final clarity circle. Today is about embodiment, integration and surrender. We connect with your highest self, map the path forward, and turn everything you have realised this week into intentions and choices you can actually carry home. Then we practise releasing the need to control exactly how the journey unfolds. After breakfast, we’ll head out for our final surf lesson and celebrate how far we’ve come. The afternoon is open for one last slow moment at the villa before dinner and our closing circle, where we honour the week and the new chapter you are stepping into!

Day 7, departure:
A slow final morning together. Gentle movement, breakfast, hugs, photos and time to take in the view one last time before heading home, and start your new chapter!
