About this Retreat
From an early age, David had a fascination in the human body. After a successful dance career in Broadway shows and the Metropolitan Opera, he now shares his passion of movement and mindfulness with others through yoga & meditation.
David is passionate about guiding his students to uncover their own potentials – physical and otherwise. With over 15 years of teaching dance, yoga and mat Pilates, he creatively combines his knowledge of all 3 disciplines in his classes. By linking physical poses with the powerful rhythm of the breath, yoga bolsters core strength while focusing the mind and enlivening the spirit. http://choyoga.com/
Details of this retreat
We welcome back David Cho of San Francisco as our Guest Teacher for a weekend of grounding, relaxation, and community.
In the heart of summer, when the days are long and life is full of activity, we are invited to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with ourselves. Whether you've been traveling, enjoying summer adventures, or preparing for the return of school and familiar routines, this is a wonderful time to pause and restore your energy. Join David Cho for his annual yoga retreat at Ratna Ling, where we will explore practices to cool and nourish the body, calm the mind, and cultivate a sense of balance and well-being.
Surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Northern California's coastal redwoods, this weekend retreat offers a refreshing blend of yoga, meditation, relaxation, and connection. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and quiet contemplation, we will release accumulated tension, restore our vitality, and rediscover a sense of ease in body, mind, and spirit. Whether you are an experienced yogi or new to the practice, all levels are warmly welcomed.
Beyond our time practicing together, enjoy spacious moments to simply be. Take a peaceful hike through the redwoods, curl up with a good book, meditate in nature, or connect with like-minded friends over nourishing vegetarian meals. With plenty of free time and the nurturing atmosphere of Ratna Ling, you'll leave feeling rested, refreshed, and ready to return to daily life with greater clarity, gratitude, and renewed energy.
