About this Retreat
Payam is a psychedelic facilitator, medicine-carrier and lecturer known for bridging shamanic wisdom with evidence-based Western science. His work draws from the biopsychosocial-spiritual model, integrating neuroscience, trauma therapy and sacred ceremony.
He collaborates internationally with doctors, psychiatrists and therapists to promote safe, ethical, integrative psychedelic practices. Payam’s passion is to support people in remembering their inherent wholeness and actualizing their highest potential. (payam.com/about)
“Transformation arises not from escaping our humanity, but from embodying it fully — heart, mind and spirit as one.” — Payam
As a facilitator and therapeutic coach, I am passionate about using plant medicine to support individuals on their healing journeys. With over two decades of experience in working with psychedelics, I understand the importance of set and setting in creating a safe and supportive environment for deep healing.
After attending my first plant medicine ceremony in 2011, I was struck by the healing power of these ancient remedies. However, I also noticed that many people were not receiving the pre- and post-ceremony support they needed to integrate their experiences.
Drawing on my training as a certified Nonviolent Communication Trainer and Internal Family Systems Therapeutic Coach, I began to develop a holistic approach to supporting clients through their psychedelic experiences.
Today, I am deeply humbled by the trust that my clients place in me and feel honoured to accompany them on their journey of self-discovery.
Through my work, I hope to contribute to a world where all people have access to safe spaces where they can heal, grow, and connect with their inner selves.

Plant Medicines & Approach
Each plant medicine brings its own intelligence and way of working:
Psilocybin truffles — insight, connection, softening of ego structures, reconnection with soul.
HapÉ — grounding and clearing, preparation for deeper work.
5-MeO-DMT (low → medium dose) — dissolution into unity, opening into Source.
All sessions are held in a safe, trauma-informed, medically screened environment with low participant-to-facilitator ratios. Every medicine experience is supported by preparation, presence and integration.
“The work is not in chasing light, but in turning with love toward the parts of ourselves we abandoned.” — Nic Burnand

The Core Elements
Two Nights of Ceremony
We’ll work with legal sacred plant medicines and/or safe synthetic analogues, in carefully held ceremonial space. These journeys are not escapes — they are homecomings.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Parts Work
Through gentle guidance, you’ll meet the parts of yourself that carry fear, grief, or protection — without pressure or force. Every part of you is welcome here.
Preparation & Integration
Transformation unfolds over time. We offer support before, during, and after the retreat — individually and in group — to help you weave your experiences into daily life.
Breathwork & Movement
The body remembers what the mind forgets. Breath and movement help open the channels through which wisdom and emotion can flow and release.
Sharing Circles
You will be witnessed in your truth and invited to witness others. Healing happens in connection.
What We're Creating Together
A small group — just 6 to 8 of us — will gather in the cosy, quiet retreat space nestled in the Dutch countryside.
Over 4 nights and 5 days, we will step into a field of deep presence and inner work, supported by sacred plant medicines (legal and safely held), Internal Family Systems (IFS), breathwork, movement, and circle.
This retreat is an invitation to:
Step into the unknown — and be held.
Shine light into what's been hidden.
Let go of old strategies of control, hiding, and isolation.
Listen to the quiet voice within that's always been guiding you home.
This is the work of courage. And community.
