About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Magdalena and Siri Manprem are returning to Sant Honorat Monastery for their third annual SUMMER OF SOUND retreat series.

In ‘Observing Silence’ we will use Kundalini Yoga kriyas that gently unlock the heart center so that you can feel and radiate universal love effortlessly.

The practices will be supported by mantra ‘Guru, Guru, Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru’. This particular chant invokes qualities of humility, compassion and protective grace. It is very relaxing and will support you in a process of emotional relief that ultimately leads to self-healing.

The more active parts of our daily practice will bring you to the point of stillness where your full attention can be focussed on the sound pattern. Following the sound pattern will naturally cause you to let go of your attachments.
To vibrate any mantra perfectly, it requires a combination of Shakti and Bhakti. Shakti is the power of precision and discipline. It is the pure energy which enforces a specific result. Bhakti is the feeling of surrender and devotion; it is the devoted dedication which provides the energy to complete everything.
‘Guru, Guru, Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru’ projects the mind to the Infinite and then brings finite guidance on a practical level.

Our last full day together will be spent without speaking. Such beautiful opportunity to integrate all the intuitive guidance received during our sessions.
Gentle freeing of the heart, quieting of the mind and a natural quality of Monastery’s deep silence will invite an organic unfolding of blessings big and small.

The Sant Honorat Monastery is an established place of worship, a sacred site. To truly immerse ourselves in this soulful experience, we will live and practice in the 14th century hermitage situated in the mystical mountains of Cura on the island of Mallorca. Sant Honorat is surrounded by peace and silence, it's a true hidden gem even though it's located only a 30min drive from the Palma airport.
