About this Retreat
Metsa Yaka was born in Germany in 1985. Since a very young age she felt drawn to the mystics of the Universe and started seeking for truth.
As she had her first Plant Medicine experience, she felt this old connection to the realm of the plants and went through an intense out of body initiation process to her path as medicine women.
The next years she went herself on a profound healing journey out of depressions and anxiety guided and supported by the sacred medicine.
In 2016 she became initiated by her teacher Inkanima in the Shipibo-Conibo lineage of his grandparrents abuelo Inkanima and abuela Ronin Wesna. She received her medicine name Metsa Yaka and started studying in various Master Plants dietas.
A big part in her life is her very strong connection to the Animal- and especially the Horse Medicine. They have accompanied her, her whole life as loving friends, wise teachers and important guides to her.
In 2017 she felt more and more called to the work with women, to support them on their very own way to liberation and deep connection within – the first Medicine Women’s Circle came to life.
With her deep, innate intuition, Metsa Yaka holds a space of clarity, love and allowance. She supports people to become present with themselves, reconnecting with their essence and inner wisdom.
As a channel for the Wisdom of Horses, Animals and the Plant Medicine, she offers a profound understanding of the teachings they impart, weaving together the threads of a deeper, holistic truth.
Through her presence and guidance, she accompanies others on their path of healing and transformation, creating a sacred space where true inner change can unfold.
Metsa Yaka is Founder of Medicina Feminina, Rao Caballo and Co-Founder of the Non-Profit-Association Visiones and the in Spain based Retreat Center Cinco Lunas.
Sanken Tsoma (born 1979 in Germany) has been devoted to the path of sacred plant medicine and shamanic healing for over 12 years. His journey has been shaped by intensive, ongoing work with a wide range of plant medicines and shamanic practices from both the Amazon and Europe.
Through deep study in various Master Plant Dietas, he was initiated by teachers from both the Shipibo-Conibo and Q'ero-Inca traditions, receiving profound insights into the art of healing with plant spirits and energies. His main teachers include the Shipibo Maestro Inkanima from the Peruvian Amazon and Don Eduardo Chura Apaza, a Q’ero healer from the Inca lineage in the Andes. In 2017, he was honored to receive the Shipibo medicine name “Sanken Tsoma” from Maestro Inkanima, along with the initiation from both of his teachers to share this sacred work with the world.
He is strongly connected to the Inkanima lineage of the Shipibo tradition and is spiritually guided by the ancestral forces of this lineage - Abuelo Inkanima and Abuela Ronin Wesna - from the non-physical realms.
Since 2013, he has been co-creating and facilitating plant medicine retreats across Europe together with Metsa Yaka. In 2015, they co-founded the School of Mysteries, which served as the platform for their retreats until 2019. That year, they established Visiones, a non-profit association that now forms the foundation of their work.
Since 2017, Sanken Tsoma has been residing in Andalusia, Spain, where he has continued to deepen his plant medicine journey. In 2024, together with Metsa Yaka, he co-founded a dedicated retreat center in Andalusia focused on transformational healing.
Following a deep inner calling, he has dedicated this lifetime to his own healing, growth, and liberation. His mission is to support others on their journey of inner healing, personal and spiritual development, and profound transformation. With a big heart, he serves as a channel for the transformative energies of the sacred plants.
He creates spaces for healing – both on an energetic level through retreats, ceremonies and treatments, and on a physical level through the creation of a retreat center devoted to this sacred work.
Details of this retreat
We warmly invite you to our upcoming Integrative Plant Medicine Retreat, held at our beautiful retreat oasis in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, Andalusia, Spain.
During five transformative days, we will guide you through three Plant Medicine Ceremonies held in the Shipibo tradition and one Cacao & Breathwork Ceremony. We will share the sacred medicine of Hapé with you and offer you a deep journey of healing, growth, and reconnection.
In addition to the ceremonies, we will guide you through various integration and process work practices, offering you the opportunity to deepen your personal journey. These tools are designed to support your continued growth and self-discovery, both during the retreat and in your everyday life.
With over 12 years of experience in the realm of plant medicine, connected to a strong Shipibo ancestor lineage, and guided by powerful plant spirits, we are honored to share this work and create a sacred space of healing and transformation for you.
The retreat is limited to a small group size of a maximum of 10 participants in order to create an intimate setting and allow us to give more personal attention to each individual.
The Plant Medicine Ceremonies (Ayahuasca):
In these Plant Medicine Ceremonies, you will connect with the powerful spirits of sacred healing plants from the Peruvian Amazon.
By drinking this sacred and potent medicine, you enter the realms of the Master Plants, allowing you to work on higher levels of consciousness and experience deep healing, purification, and transformation on physical, psychological, emotional, energetic, and spiritual levels.
This powerful medicine can heal trauma, clean out ancestral karma, transform old patterns, and release blockages – not only from this lifetime – in a profound and lasting way.
The Plant Spirits open you to your inner truth, connecting you with your higher self, deeper understanding, and the blessings of life.
By integrating the experiences, teachings, and wisdom of the plants, this journey can become the starting point for profound life change and living your full potential.
Participation in the ceremonies is also possible without drinking the medicine.
The Cacao Breathwork Ceremony:
Cacao Ceremonies have their roots in the ancient traditions of the Maya and Aztecs in Central and South America. The spirit of cacao – often referred to as Mama Cacao – was honored in spiritual ceremonies as a sacred heart-opener, bringing clarity, inner harmony, and a deep connection to one’s creativity. This gentle yet powerful plant medicine can awaken euphoric states, release emotions, calm the mind, and help us reconnect with our Higher Self, the wisdom within, and the loving energy that resides in the body.
For centuries, cacao has been used as a tool to heal the mental, physical, and spiritual body.
When combined with Conscious Connected Breathing, we move beyond the limitations of the thinking mind. This breathwork practice increases the oxygen supply to the brain and bloodstream, stimulates the nervous system, and activates the release of various hormones—including anandamide, also known as the “bliss molecule.” In this expanded state of awareness, stress, tension, and emotional blocks can be released. Creativity flows, and we are invited into a space of inner peace, love, and deep compassion. Our deeper truth may emerge.
The medicine of cacao and the medicine of our own breath form a profoundly powerful combination—inviting us into an embodied journey of deep healing and inner transformation.
“Our breathing is the direct connection to pure consciousness.”
Rapé & Sananga Sharings:
Rapé (pronounced Hapee) is a sacred and powerful plant medicine with deep healing, purifying, and centering properties. It has been used for centuries by indigenous tribes of Brazil, such as the Huni Kuin, Yawanawá, and Nukini.
This finely ground powder is made from Mapacho tobacco combined with the ash or ingredients of various medicinal plants. It is administered through a bamboo pipe called a Tepi, gently blown into the nose.
Rapé cleanses both physically and energetically, supports healing, opens the heart, sharpens the mind, clears the consciousness, and decalcifies the pineal gland. It is a powerful ally for grounding, clarity, and enhanced focus – especially during meditation.
The Process and Integration Work:
Integration is the most essential element for embodying and manifesting what you’ve experienced into your daily life.
It is the process of bringing energetic, emotional, and physical experiences into conscious awareness.
To support and empower your journey, we offer a variety of integration tools and practices. These may include Breathwork, Trauma Work, Body Work, Shadow Work, Emotional Release, Inner Child Work, and Inquiry Practices – intuitively chosen to meet you where you are.
These methods help you anchor your insights and deepen your transformation with clarity and self-empowerment.
