I am a clinical psychologist (KU Leuven, 2001) and systemic psychotherapist (Interactieacademie, Antwerp), with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, groups and organisations in Belgium.
My work is rooted in one core belief: real change doesn't happen through insight alone. It happens through experience — in the body, in relationship, and in contact with what is alive in the present moment.
Over the years I have deepened my practice through training in breathwork (resonance breathing / consciously connected breathing), EMDR, Parts work with voice dialogue, Emotionally Focused Therapy and a postgraduate specialisation in high sensitivity (HSP). The polyvagaal theory of Stephen Porges became a key framework in my work — offering a trauma-sensitive lens through which nervous system regulation, embodiment and connection all come together.
I founded Aandachtsacademie to bring this integrated approach to more people — through individual therapy, group work, trainings and immersive retreats in nature.
What drives me is a deep trust in the self-healing capacity of every human being. My role is not to fix, but to create the conditions in which something can shift — gently, deeply and durably.
Clients and colleagues describe me as warm, grounded and deeply attuned — someone who makes people feel genuinely seen from the very first moment.
