About this Retreat
Natalie has been teaching yoga and sharing the dharma for almost 15 years. She is a certified Shivakali yoga teacher and spiritual counselor, as well a meditation guide and energy worker. Her background in environmental management has deeply shaped her teachings as she considers Mother Earth her first spiritual teacher. Natalie relies on her Buddhist teachings to support individuals in connecting with their best selves. She deeply believes in the power of play and joy as a means to living our best lives.
Over her lifetime, Meg has held a myriad of careers, but none has brought more meaning than her role as an end-of-life doula. She felt called to this work after assisting her stepdad through the MAID process in 2017, acting as primary caregiver for her mother who suffered from dementia, and having helped two close friends as cancer ended their lives.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, but having lived all over the country, Meg relocated to Bend in April of 2024. She is an active volunteer with Partners in Care and completed the Peaceful Presence Project end of life doula training November of 2024.
Sarah has loved all forms of movement from a young age and was a competitive athlete for many years. After college rugby took a physical toll on her body, Sarah found a balance of strength and ease through her yoga asana practice. During her years living in West Sonoma, Sarah’s teachers Jenn Russo & Ann Austin helped her deeper her physical & spiritual practice, and showed her the power of a moving meditation to calm busy chatter in the mind.
Wanting to deepen her practice further after relocating to the Big Island of Hawaii, Sarah completed her 200-Hour teacher training with Shivakali Yoga, led by Gloria Baraquio & Serge Bandura. Sarah now resides full-time in Kona, teaching weekly classes at the Yoga Nest while balancing a career in corporate event production. Sarah’s flow classes sequence related postures in a creative, scalable way for all practitioners to connect breath with movement. Sarah encourages her students to approach their practice without judgement, with an end goal of bringing more gratitude, joy, and peace to her students’ lives.

SLOW DOWN, TAKE A BREAK, AND REST
In the fast-paced world of mobile devices, cars, planes, deadlines, and capitalism, we can lose track of what's important, like our well-being, inner peace, laughter, and our personal truth.
You matter, and you are more than enough. That phone call or email can wait. Your family or job will be fine without you always being there.
Treat yourself and enjoy three nights at Ratna Ling to unwind, reflect, and breathe into your fullness. Remember what you value the most, and then return to your life with a renewed sense of ease, joy, and strength.
This weekend includes:
Yoga for all levels
Relaxation Practices
Meditation for all levels
Sound Healing
Optional Bodywork + Wellness Services
