Details of this retreat

Explore your inner landscape by immersing yourself in Nature.

While many of us spend time in offices, houses, cities, and busy streets, we canʻt always connect with our true Nature. What can Nature teach you about yourself? When we go outside, we can observe the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space. We can feel the groundedness of the tree or the rock, the fluidity of the ocean, the force and heat of fire, the wispiness of the wind, and the boundlessness of space. We contact our true inner being of peace by connecting with Nature.

"We can study nature, study ourselves, and deepen our understanding of our innate companionship with the earth… cultivating love and care that ripple out from our lives into the world.”

-Tarthang Tulku

We can become more loving and peaceful when we become students of Nature.
During this retreat, aligning the abundant natural beauty of Ratna Ling with Tibetan yoga exercises, meditation, and practices, you will learn to relax the body and open the senses. In this state of awareness and openness, you can allow the beauty of nature to connect to your true inner nature.  Let Nature teach you more about who you really are, and who you can be.  You can experience the interconnectedness of all existence.

This retreat includes:

Kum Nye, Tibetan Relaxation

Fantastic experience
It was my first time visiting Ratna king and I was so pleasantly surprised. I felt well taken care of from the healthy delicious food, to the cozy well appointed cottage. Most of all though is the spiritual Buddhist nature of all. Our meditation and movement guides filled my soul! I feel spacious and at ease. Thank you all. I highly recommend a visit to Ratna Ling

Fantastic retreat
I absolutely loved my retreat at Ratna Ling. The property is just gorgeous and so peaceful. The accommodation and food were great and they did a great job matching up people into the shared cottages. The retreat itself was well organized and had variety to it so there was lots to take away from it. Highly recommend.

Unbelievable Weekend Away - Far Surpassed my expectations!
I was gifted a weekend away with my bestfriend a weekend retreat to Ratna Ling and had zero expectations. I was honestly annoyed I was being pushed out of the house but knew it was for good reason :) When we arrived at the grounds I was already impressed with the quality of everything and everyone. The buildings are beautiful, the area feels calm and sacred and the positive feelings immediately kicked in.
The sessions for our meditative retreat were perfect for newbies and those looking to find their way back to meditation. The teachings were approachable and comprehensible and really applicable to modern day life.
The accommodations are spacious and perfect.
The FOOD! OMG, zero expectations here again and I was blown away. So delicious, I ate SO much that weekend because it was all so fresh and flavorful. Mangia and Meditation <3

Run, don't walk to this retreat center! I will definitely be back for other segments!

Thank you to the entire team at Ratna Ling for a positive and memorable experience.

Another amazing weekend retreat!
Gloria’s retreats are the best gift you could give yourself. They’re a journey into yourself that you never knew you needed. She creates a magical safe space where you can just be. A chance to get away from the noise, be yourself, and find yourself. Being with other people who are doing the same brings a collective energy, wisdom and sense of community. I’ve felt closer to people I’ve met on a weekend retreat than people I’ve known for years. Everything at the retreat is an invitation to participate as much or as little as you want. Her retreats are a chance to embrace yourself with love and acceptance. You never know what to expect but for me they always offer something beautiful that stays with me.

Yoga is like surfing!
Just got back from a yoga weekend at Rayna Ling. Everything was perfect! Except me, I wasnt prepared for how hard a yoga workout could be, especially on my old bod! I unfortunately signed up for a yoga class I wasnt really in shape for, but the yoga I did helped and has caused me to sign up for yoga more in ability range. I say it’s like surfing in that, if you tried to learn to surf at Pipeline , it would be difficult at best. So it was my issue of over reaching and nothing to do with the teachers.
I will be back but only after I continue on this path of yoga and become a more competent student!
Thanks
Tom
PS - the temple was amazing!
