Details of this retreat

We welcome Jacqui Rowley of San Francisco to offer a weekend retreat to help you strike the balance between work and relaxation.

For many of us who are moving too fast between work, family, friends, and the digital world, we still find it hard to slow down. If we are to feel balanced, then there's nothing more urgent than learning how to slow down and simply rest.

Join Jacqui for a weekend of morning vinyasa classes, and evenings of slow flow. The mornings will include an athletic yoga flow class, exploring a peak yoga pose or family of poses. The days are free for hiking, reading, journaling and exploring the majestic grounds of Ratna Ling. Evening classes are slow and restorative with sound healing. This weekend is all about knowing how to move and make efforts, while balancing out with relaxation and non-doing.

If you are looking to chill out, deepen your practice, and connect in community, then this retreat is for you!

wonderful space to relax
I went to Ratna Ling Retreat Center for a yoga and sound retreat. I've never been here and didn't know anyone who had been here, so I was taking a leap of faith, and it paid off. I had a great time.

Ratna Ling provided clean, modern space yoga studio with heated floors. The food was fresh (vegetarian) and the guest cabins were nested in the forest. Half the cabins were 5 min walk to the lodge, and the other cabins #14-17 were 10 min walk or 3 min drive. Because of the rain and evening yoga classes ending around 8-9pm, I drove.

I guess the only complaint i might have is that the bedrooms and bathroom doors didn't have locks. I was assigned a roommate, a lovely woman and we had no problems, but no locks on bathroom doors, weird.

Meditation retreat - grounding community
Im so thankful I made the time for a weekend long meditation retreat at Ratna Ling. George was the lead facilitator and I was grateful for his ability to create a safe, open, and accessible space for all. He gently guided us to longer meditation sits, with an array of different approaches. I left the weekend feeling grounded, with a stronger commitment to meditation and a wonderful community. Hope to be back soon!

No Complaints
The food.
The lodging.
The Conference Center/Yoga Studio.
The Temple that we were given a private tour to.

The setting.
And the Staff.

The only complaint I could give was that the retreat was far too short.

Thank You.
