About this Retreat
Karmyn Ojeda Egle is a devoted practitioner and teacher whose journey bridges the realms of physical awareness, meditative practice, and Tibetan Buddhist wisdom. Karmyn has dedicated herself to exploring the intricate connection between body and mind through the transformative practice of Kum Nye, a Tibetan healing system. Karmyn’s practice resonates with those seeking a meaningful integration of body, mind, and spirit. Through her guidance in Kum Nye, Yoga, and meditation, she creates spaces where practitioners can cultivate deep relaxation, heightened presence, and a profound connection to themselves and the world around them.
Karmyn is trained in Meditation, Reiki, Therapeutic Yoga, Breath-based Hatha Yoga (200 RYT), and a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Her training encompasses intensive retreats and seminars across Europe, the United States, South America, and Asia, drawing on those experiences to design inclusive classes with a warm, grounded presence.
Originally from Argentina, Karmyn moved to the USA in 2018, where she has been a full-time volunteer at Ratna Ling, supporting diverse activities. Her practice is infused with a love for nature, motherhood, gardening, cooking, and the artistry of textiles, reflecting an aesthetic sensibility and mindfulness in everyday life.
Details of this retreat
Join this special offering by Ratna Ling Resident Teacher, Karmyn Ojeda, for a weekend of relaxation techniques from Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga, as taught by Tarthang Tulku.
This winter, use the season for what itʻs designed for: rest, slowness, and introspection. If you are needing to slow down the pace, this weekend was designed for you. Step away for three days to simply soften and breathe.
This retreat, devoted to relaxation, invites a new way of being—one of deep listening, embodiment, and gently returning to yourself. Guided by a resident teacher of Ratna Ling, these sessions are based on the subtle yet powerful practices of Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga, as taught by Tarthang Tulku. Through mindful movement, breath, and deep relaxation, you’ll begin to unwind layers of tension held in the body and nervous system. As your edges soften, a natural sense of ease and presence can emerge—one that doesn’t need to be forced or achieved, but simply allowed.
Held within the quiet beauty of Ratna Ling’s forest sanctuary, this immersive weekend offers space to slow down and reconnect with your innate capacity for awareness and calm. You’ll explore how to meet life’s challenges with more openness and fluidity, shifting from habitual patterns of rigidity into a calm and clear way of being. Whether you are new to Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga or returning to deepen your practice, this retreat offers a nurturing environment to rest, restore, and experience the quiet strength of a relaxed being.
