About this Retreat
Lisa Annese is an author, motivational speaker, teacher, sound therapist and owner of The Space by Lisa Annese, a spiritual healing and retreat center in Wyckoff, NJ. Lisa has been serving with singing bowls for the past 5 years. She was inspired to learn how to become a practitioner to support the needs of her son who was diagnosed with permanent hearing loss in 2020. She was trained directly by Katherine Hamer, founder of the Singing Bowl & Sound Institute of New York and later became certified to teach others to become practitioners. Living in her purpose, Lisa is a true teacher at heart who fell in love with creating experiences to help heal others with the power of sound vibrations.
As a divorced woman, single mother and hearing loss advocate (supporting the needs of her son who has permanent hearing loss), she has chosen to accept the dark of her past and step into the light in her present, embrace challenges as lessons, and forever change the narrative of her future and that of her family.
In her first book, I Am Light, Lisa openly shares stories from her path about finding her own light as an opportunity to educate and help others to do the same for themselves. Learn more about Lisa’s service offerings, retreats, workshops, events and more at lisaannese.com or on Instagram @ lisaannese. Lisa can be contacted at lisa@lisaannese.com.
