Details of this retreat

This nature meditation retreat is designed to support healing through nature-based mindfulness and somatic practices. Trauma often disrupts our inner ecosystems, leading to a dysregulated state that hinders our ability to fully engage in life. By connecting with nature, we can restore balance to our body, mind, and relationships, creating a space for transformation and healing.

Mindfulness in nature helps us become more aware, reduce reactivity, and cultivate compassion, while somatic practices in nature enable us to re-inhabit our bodies in a way that feels safe and restorative.

This retreat provides the opportunity to reconnect with our true nature, fostering resilience, healing, and a deeper bond with the Earth. This healing with nature retreat we will have the opportunity to deeply connect with the medicine of winter. This is a time to reflect, connect to the Earth’s teachings of stillness, quiet, deep listening in the dark, and emerge into the light of healing that can be felt and known to support the transformation of life.

Throughout the retreat, participants will engage in both silent and community-based practices, including nature meditations, reflective journaling, and scenic hikes. These practices will help you explore the transformative potential of nature and somatic healing, providing tools to integrate the insights gained into your daily life.

There are no specific meditation or somatic experience requirements for the retreat, and all are welcome with an open heart. However, if you have recently experienced a significant loss or life transition, it may be best to wait before attending, as the retreat involves exploring deep healing from trauma.
