Creativity has been a constant thread throughout Janina Church’s life. Over decades of artistic exploration, she has painted murals, exhibited work in galleries, participated in open studio art tours, and shared her art through markets, shops, and collaborations. Her work spans many mediums—including painting, illustration, fiber arts, sculpting, and metalsmithing—reflecting a lifelong curiosity and devotion to making. Art has been a deeply personal resource for Janina, supporting her through life’s changes and challenges. This lived relationship with creativity is the foundation of her Healing Art Workshops, where she invites participants to experience art as a pathway for self-exploration and emotional healing. Working with a range of art materials and mixed media, Janina guides participants through a hands-on creative process that encourages exploration, expression, and discovery. These workshops welcome people of all skill levels to engage with materials freely and create work that feels meaningful and personal. In addition to her art practice, Janina brings over 22 years of training in yoga and wellness, including Vinyasa, Restorative, Adaptive, and Iyengar yoga, meditation, sound healing, Reiki, fitness modalities, and Ayurveda herbalism. These practices inform her teaching in subtle, supportive ways, helping participants stay present, embodied, and connected throughout the creative process. As a co-founder of Wisdom Rising, Janina offers her deep love of art, embodiment, and holistic wellness to retreats and gatherings that encourage creative exploration, mindful presence, and authentic self-expression.

Madelina Silva is a co-founder of Wisdom Rising, which creates retreats and gatherings centered on embodied presence, seasonal rhythm, and intuitive listening. Her work is informed by training and ongoing practice in spiritual psychology, yoga, Reiki, somatic movement, meditation, sound-based practices, and tarot as tools for reflection and intuitive inquiry. After decades working in hospitality, event production, and design, Madelina recognized a longing that was both personal and collective for spaces that invited slowness, intention, and deep listening. Wisdom Rising emerged from this desire to create containers where women can meet transition, rest, and emergence with presence, self-trust, and care. Madelina is guided by a belief that our inner intelligence is already alive within us, waiting for space to be noticed and brought forward into loving action. With a deep commitment to holding spacious, trauma-aware containers, she brings both structure and soul to her facilitation, guiding women into experiences that slow the pace of life so they can tune in, listen, and feel their way forward with clarity and ease.
