Since 2011, Alexandra Sturgess has been the driving force behind Tuscan Fitness, creating a space where movement and mindfulness meet the beauty of the Italian landscape. As a 500-hour certified yoga teacher and a Certified Personal Trainer, Alexandra offers a rare blend of athletic discipline and soulful practice.

Her deep expertise in Ashtanga and Vinyasa is complemented by her background in Massage Therapy, ensuring every guest moves safely and recovers fully. While her teaching focuses on balanced longevity, she is also certified to lead the high-energy, uplifting sequences of Rocket Yoga. Whether you are looking to build strength, refine your alignment, or find restoration, Alexandra’s decade-plus of experience ensures a transformative retreat tailored to your body’s unique needs.

Tuscan Fitness Team

Elske and Olaf are two of our amazing teachers, with years of experience teaching and understanding bodies. They are both massage therapists as well as teachers giving them a deeper understanding of the human body which allows for a practice that enables comfort and growth.

Come and enjoy a stunning property in beautiful Ibiza!

The villa offers a total of 7 bedrooms and can accommodate 18 people, we will host the retreat with a maximum of 12 guests in order to keep it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and there are room for both private solo travellers and those who would like to share with a friend, spouse or family member.

This retreat will focus on the awakening energies of the spring, allowing us to hone in on our bodies and bring them from a more introspective winter to a blossoming creative spring. We will follow 2 yoga classes per day, hiking and fitness and with time for massages and other extra activities. We will be enjoying the beaches as well as local restaurants.

Most of the meals will take place on the property curated by your local private chef, giving us that truly pampered feeling.

Alix, Elske and Olaf will be the mains teachers on this retreat and they will help you move through the week allowing you to feel rejuvenated and supercharged when you leave.

Wonderful caring !

We loved the venue and wowed by the natural beauty and rustic charm of the hotel . It just made it all the more relaxing.

We had a delicate situation on our hands and not sure if we would be well enough to partake in everything but all that was handled so well and every effort was made to encourage us and make us feel part despite. Our beginner status.

A genuine bunch of caring friendly team who cd not do enough for you.

Terrific all round putting everybody at ease xx

Just what I needed...

My plan was to visit Florence, enjoy the food culture and maybe take a ride through the rolling tuscan hills. Doing a yoga retreat was a last minute thought but turned out to be the highlight of my trip. Its setting is on a hill top over looking the valley below and the small town of Montegonzi.
Wake up for the sunrise...Stunning!

In between the yoga classes, I really enjoyed the hikes. David our guide talked us through the natural plants native to the Chianti landscape and a bit of history surrounding the areas. The olive oil and wine tasting was a real bonus.

I came to Italy to see the tuscan hills and enjoy the food culture, I got all of that and a lot more in one place...

The best experience ever had

I was extremely tired from very long year and I only had 2 nights available to recharge. The smile on people faces from the paradise connected with nature was special and exactly what I needed to tune, recharge, gain strength and experience delicious wine tasting and oil tasting.
From the trekking with Dave, to the yoga with Alix and Dina, to the team at the reception and at the restaurant, everyone was super welcoming. The food was delicious too!

Wat een happy place!

~Ik was hier nu voor de 3e keer en het blijft een heerlijke bestemming om te ontspannen en tegelijkertijd te genieten van het Toscaanse landschap gecombineerd met yoga, fitness, hiken en andere activiteiten. Waarbij het motto is: alles kan, niets hoeft..
David en Alix zijn geweldige fijne mensen, die hun liefde voor Toscane vol passie overdragen aan elke gast.
Zoals altijd voelde ik mij omarmd door vriendelijkheid en schoonheid.
Met recht een happy place.
Ik kom zeker weer terug.

Amazing!

Tuscan fitness have perfected this retreat. The location is beautiful, doing yoga sessions every morning and afternoon with a fantastic view was very relaxing. Thank you to Alix and Elske for being such attentive instructors. Alix also hosted a fitness class which was great.
Having the opportunity to see the Tuscan countryside through daily hikes was great too, thank you also to David.
The food was so fresh and cooked to perfection. There was also the opportunity to do other activities like wine tasting which was lovely.
The timetable is carefully thought out and there’s care for each guest attending. Thank you also to Levi for driving us to and from the station and wine tasting.
The team have a great energy and I thoroughly recommend this. I will definitely be returning for a future retreat they run!
