About this Retreat
Linda Copenhagen began her Buddhist studies at the Nyingma Institute in 1996, while she was a mother of 3, a wife, and the finance director for various startups in the Bay Area. For the past several years, she has been a CFO and financial consultant in the non-profit sector. She currently serves as the Director of Ratna Ling, and she supports in the Accounting for many of the TNMC organizations (Tibetan Nyingma Meditation Center) in the US and abroad. Linda continues to weave Buddhist teachings into modern life, finances, and the meditation retreats she offers. She hopes to inspire busy executives and householders to find more balance and ease in their lives.
Maria Helena Kubrusly is a founding member of the Nyingma center in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. An Odiyan resident since 1999, Maria Helena works regularly with Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche on administrative and community matters. Maria Helena has offered retreats and courses in the US, Brazil, and Europe, online and in person. She has a masters degree in Applied Linguistics from Lancaster University, UK.

Imagine this coming new year and as you imagine consider how you want to show up for yourself, your loved ones, and your coworkers. Here, you can take the time to reflect on your thoughts, words, and actions, and learn to create spaciousness in your mind. Through meditation, you become more aware of the patterns that drive and motivate your actions. This January retreat is designed for you to get to know yourself better and consider how you want your 2026 to unfold.
This retreat is open to all levels of meditators, from beginners to experienced. Chairs are optional.
COVID POLICY: For your safety and ours, we require that all guests be vaccinated against Covid and provide proof of a negative Covid test result within 48 hours of arrival. We wish to provide peace of mind for all of our residents and guests.

Transportation to/from Ratna Ling is NOT included - carpooling encouraged
Payments are nonrefundable and transferable to a future Ratna Ling stay or retreat
Each cottage includes TWO private rooms with queen beds, large dining & living area, gas fireplace,
spacious deck, jacuzzi tub, linens/towels/hand soap, kitchenette with tea & coffee, complimentary wireless internet. Towels and hand soap are provided.
