About this Retreat
With over 20 years as a professional mermaid, Hannah brings her mastery of underwater adventure, breathwork, and movement to life through magical ocean stories and embodied wisdom. As an experienced and joyful retreat leader, she creates a warm, supportive space where you’re free to express yourself fully, reconnect with your inner child, and dive into playful exploration. Her nurturing presence invites laughter, freedom, and transformation — all while deepening your love for the sea and yourself.
Often referred to as the ‘Queen of the mermaids’, Hannah Fraser created the vocation of ‘Freelance Mermaid’ in 2003 and has been featured worldwide for her ocean conservation and underwater performance art, creating spectacular mermaid tails, performing for film, music videos, photo campaigns, public speaking, events & environmental actions.
She dances with sharks, whales dolphins, seals, turtles, rays and more in the open ocean, capturing breathtaking imagery of human & animal encounters that look like renaissance paintings.
Hannah can hold her breath for up to 4 minutes at a time and freedive to depths of over 50 feet on a single breath of air.
Hannah broke records as the first person to dance with Tiger Sharks on the ocean floor with no scuba or snorkel gear and was one of the main activists who paddled out to protect dolphins from slaughter in the academy award winning film ’The Cove’. In 2013 She released a short film called 'Mantas Last Dance' that propelled Manta Rays into the public eye and helped pass a law to protect mantas worldwide.
She teaches underwater workshops & retreats around the globe, sharing her unique skillset, joyful enthusiasm, and breath-taking stories from the deep. She has choreographed underwater movement for stars such as Jennifer Lawrence in the Dior campaign, and performed for celebrities such as Adele, Victoria Beckham, Vin Diesel, Red Hot Chili Peppers Peppers, Chris Brown, and members of the Royal Saudi family.

BEACH CLEAN UP:
As part of the ‘Dive Into Love’ Retreat at Siren Sanctuary, we’ll unite for a beach clean-up mission to collect trash along the otherwise pristine coastline. This hands-on effort is a way to give back to the ocean that inspires us, helping protect marine life and maintain the natural beauty of the area. By working together, we’ll make a tangible difference for the local environment, fostering a deeper connection to the ocean and reinforcing our shared commitment to conservation and sustainability.
ANIMAL RESCUE CENTER:
At each retreat, we visit and donate to the local wildlife rescue center, a vital organization that has rescued 500–700 animals annually since 2008, with over 40% successfully returned to their natural habitat. As animal lovers and environmentalists, this is a meaningful way to support impactful, local conservation work. During our visit, you’ll learn about indigenous wildlife and have the chance to meet animals currently in rehabilitation, deepening your connection to the region and its incredible biodiversity.

As part of the ‘Dive Into Love’ Retreat at Siren Sanctuary, we’ll unite for a beach clean-up mission to collect trash along the otherwise pristine coastline. This hands-on effort is a way to give back to the ocean that inspires us, helping protect marine life and maintain the natural beauty of the area. By working together, we’ll make a tangible difference for the local environment, fostering a deeper connection to the ocean and reinforcing our shared commitment to conservation and sustainability.
ANIMAL RESCUE CENTER:
At each retreat, we visit and donate to the local wildlife rescue center, a vital organization that has rescued 500–700 animals annually since 2008, with over 40% successfully returned to their natural habitat. As animal lovers and environmentalists, this is a meaningful way to support impactful, local conservation work. During our visit, you’ll learn about indigenous wildlife and have the chance to meet animals currently in rehabilitation, deepening your connection to the region and its incredible biodiversity.
